DESCRIZIONE DEL PROGETTO:
Il progetto SOCRAT mira a promuovere lo sviluppo del turismo sostenibile e l’empowerment delle comunità lungo le coste adriatiche di Italia e Croazia, attraverso la creazione di itinerari turistici innovativi basati sull’arte contemporanea, l’artigianato tradizionale e le industrie culturali locali. Coinvolgendo la società civile e i settori creativi, il progetto intende affrontare sfide territoriali comuni, come la dipendenza dal turismo stagionale, la scarsa collaborazione tra artisti e autorità locali, e la necessità di offrire esperienze turistiche più autentiche.
OBIETTIVO DEL PROGETTO:
L’obiettivo principale di SOCRAT è diversificare i flussi turistici e promuovere lo sviluppo locale attraverso la creazione di esperienze autentiche e immersive che valorizzino il patrimonio creativo del territorio.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The SOCRAT project aims to promote sustainable tourism development and community empowerment in the Italian and Croatian Adriatic coasts by mobilizing tourist itineraries based on contemporary arts, crafts, creative and cultural industries and civil society. The project seeks to address common territorial challenges such as over-reliance on seasonal tourist flows, insufficient cooperation among artists and local authorities, and the authenticity of the tourist offer.
PROJECT GOAL:
The project’s overall objective is to diversify touristic flows and enhance local development by activating and developing more authentic experiences from the creativity of the territory. The project proposes a socially-based model through Creative Living Labs that bring together local industry, artists, and civil society to co-create new tourism products and services that promote cultural heritage, creativity and generate economic opportunities for local communities.
