DEDICATED TO LATIN AMERICAN VIDEOART
IN THE PROJECT ROOM OF THE PINO PASCALI FOUNDATION
From 16th October to 12th December 2021
On the 16th of October 2021, the Pino Pascali Foundation will open the exhibition Latidos, which will be hosted in the Foundation’s project room. Curated by Lucia Cupertino and Maria Rossi, and promoted by the magazine La Macchina Sognante (The Dreaming Machine), Latidos, which in Spanish means “beats”,takes viewers through the extremely lively expressions of Latin American art and culture in order to present an analysis of the interconnections that exist between visual arts, anthropology and literature in the South American continent.
The exhibition includes works by: Andrés Montes Zuluaga (Columbia); Jade Rainho (Brazil); Michelle Angela Orti (USA/Mexico), Mingas de cuerpos (South American art collective); Natalie Marx (Colombia/USA); Corporación Traitraico (Cile), Raúl Zecca Castel (Italy/Spain).
